Warm up this winter with an afternoon of aloha. In this 3-hour cultural workshop led by Ilima Young-Dunn, you’ll explore the beauty of Hawaiian tradition through basic hula steps, chant, and single-ribbon lei making—an experience that celebrates movement, mindfulness, and connection.

Meet

Ilima Young-Dunn

Ilima has been dancing hula professionally for 25 years, and her ʻohana hails from Waimānalo, Oʻahu

In this introductory workshop, participants will learn foundational hula steps, an oli (chant), and the basic protocols of hula and lei making—all while gaining a deeper appreciation for the culture of Hawaiʻi.
